appointment and belly button...eww

back from my ultrasound and little lady Mangan was having a party in there!!! She was just so adorable. I know that sounds weird, especially since it is a blurry black and white screen, but trust me, she was! At one point, she looked like she was trying to crawl out of the womb!!!! She weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. at this point and is about 12 inches long. So of course Eric compared her to a subway sub. interesting...anyway, I felt so happy leaving there today. I can't believe I have to wait FOUR more months. grrrrr.......Anyway, the other thing that is really starting to happen is that my belly button is popping out. It seriously looks like a little white alien. I am not happy about it because I am so tempted to touch the little flappiness that it is, but then I get grossed out! oh well...

ommmmmmmmm

Okay, so I took prenatal yoga for the first time on Monday night. Now, I have taken plenty of yoga classes, so this shouldn't have been a big deal...but for some reason I turned into a 10-yr. old while I was in the class. My friend was in the class with me and we were sitting on our mats next to each other...now this just wasn't a good idea. You are supposed to use these deep sounding breaths in yoga, but this teacher sounded like she was going to blow the room away! So of course I start giggling to myself. It got to the point that I had to leave the room and go into the bathroom to laugh. I was laughing to the point of snorting, that's how ridiculous it was. So I got myself together and really enjoyed the class. It was so nice to take deep breaths and stretch my back and hips. So the end of the class comes and we are supposed to sing a chant. 'sahhhhhhhhhhhht nammmmmmmmmmm'.....well when I finally gained the courage to join in, my voice crackling, I hear my friend join in next to me. I almost lost it again. I guess I am not mature enough to attend a yoga class with a friend. Anyway, here is my 21 week picture taken that night. I was a poppin'!!!!!!

Wahhhhhhhhh!

So tonight is one of those nights where I just feel like every part of my body is falling apart. My back is killing me, my stomach is literally expanding by the minute, and my feet are sore. I want to go to bed right now, but I need to pack for my weekend away in Buffalo. Anyway, somehow I am feeling okay because I know I am wearing my new 'pregnant jeans' tomorrow. Woo-hoo!!!!!! Elastic waistbands rule.

And announcing.....Lil' Lady Mangan!!!!! We got her face (the ultrasound tech thought it looked kinda scary how she was looking at us and you could see the skeleton...I thought she looked sweet. Guess I'm already being protective mommy), then her little foot, her 'goods,' and then the sweetie's profile pics. If you look closely, you can tell her mouth is open in the second one. And actually, I just realized that you can't really see her mouth because these pics are kinda blurry. We don't have our scanner set up yet, so I took pictures of the pictures!

Baby Mangan

So, I am officially going to start posting about this fun and exciting thing we call being pregnant...I am currently 20 weeks (yeah--halfway there) preggo and am wanting to comment on things I think/feel throughout this process. I am going to attach some pics too just for fun. Anyway, today I am feeling good. I have the day off from work, which could probably be part of why I feel so good. I also went to the gym, went grocery shopping, and just wolfed down a big bowl of Annie's Mac and Cheese. I threw some broccoli in there just so I could feel like I was doing something healthy. :) Anyway, I have to do a bunch of work right now, so I will post some pics and get started.
